Full-Time Primary Educator (Online)
Location: Remote (UK-Based).
Salary: £35,000 per annum.
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Annual Leave: 50 days per year, inclusive of standard UK bank holidays.
Start Date: 4th January 2027.
About the Role: Are you an enthusiastic, qualified teacher with a passion for the Primary years? Gaia Learning is looking for a dedicated Primary Educator to join our amazing online team from January 2027. You will be delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to our learners with special educational needs, helping them thrive in a flexible and supportive online environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised UK teaching qualification is essential.
  • Subject Specialist: Creative expertise in teaching all Primary subjects - we support for children ages 8 onwards.
  • UK-Based: This is a fully remote position, but you must be living and working in the UK.
  • Vetting Requirements: To keep our community safe, you must hold (or be willing to undergo) an Enhanced DBS Check with Children's Barred List info, alongside a Teacher Prohibition check.
  • Tech Savvy and Creative Delivery: Confident using digital tools and interactive platforms to deliver creative, highly engaging, and accessible online sessions tailored to neurodivergent learners.

Freelance Maths/STEM Educator (Online)
Location: Remote (UK-Based)
Rate: £30 per hour (includes delivery, lesson preparation, and reporting time)
Hours: Lessons may take place between 13:00 to 18:00, Monday to Thursday. You will not be required during all these times. You will invoice us on a per lesson basis.

In this freelance role, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to our neurodivergent learners and those with special educational needs, helping them thrive in a flexible, calm, and supportive online environment.


Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Delivery and Admin: You will deliver focused online sessions. Your £30/hr rate fully covers session delivery along with all required lesson preparation, resource creation, and learner progress reporting.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognized UK teaching qualification is essential.
  • Subject Specialist: Strong expertise in teaching Maths and Science IGCSEs.
  • UK-Based: This is a fully remote position, but you must be living and working in the UK.
  • Vetting and Safer Recruitment: To keep our community safe, you must hold (or be willing to undergo) an Enhanced DBS Check with Children's Barred List information, alongside a Teacher Prohibition check.
