Our Platform & Reporting

How to Join

At Gaia Learning, every learner is started on a pathway designed to reflect their readiness for learning.

This ensures the right balance of academic challenge, structure, and emotional support. In a calm, predictable space, students choose how to take part (camera off is fine; voice or chat both welcome) and build confidence through interest-led projects and gentle collaboration.

The Benefits of 1:1 Support

  • Personal pace, personal plan: Targets the exact gaps and strengths; tempo adapts to energy, processing time, and focus.
  • Intensive skill-building: Deep work on priorities (e.g., reading, maths, writing, communication, executive function) without distraction.
  • Immediate feedback & adjustment: The educator can pivot in the moment—reteach, model, scaffold, or extend.
  • Flexible logistics: Timing, duration, and format can match the learner’s rhythms and medical/energy needs.
  • Bridge to wider participation: 1:1 can rehearse social/learning routines that later transfer into small groups.

Benefit of Small Group Classes

  • Belonging: “Part of something” with real friendships and safe community.
  • Gentle on-ramps: Predictable routines, cameras optional, choose voice/chat, opt-in participation.
  • Designed for engagement: Short segments, movement/brain breaks, interest-led topics, co-creation and collaboration.
  • Small groups, high care: Low ratios, clear roles, individual check-ins inside the group.
  • Seen and supported: Personalised goals inside the class; 1:1 and group can blend.
  • Social outcomes + learning: Collaboration, turn-taking, problem-solving—transferable skills families value.

Honest, Useful Reporting

How we share progress and help learners, together

We believe families deserve a clear picture of how their child is really getting on—what’s going well and what’s hard.

At Gaia Learning, we report on progress and challenges side-by-side, so there are no surprises at GCSE choices, next steps, or when seeking support. Our aim is transparency that actually helps: actionable insights, not just praise.

Everything is available 24/7 on our Bloom platform.

How we report...

  • Half-termly full reports – a rich update on progress, engagement, and wellbeing, including what’s working, what isn’t, and recommended next steps.
  • End-of-term lighter reports – a concise summary to keep everyone aligned without overwhelming you.
  • Balanced by design – we always include areas of difficulty and the strategies we’re testing, so you can see the full picture.

Conversations that move things forward...

  • Talk to us anytime – book a call with our Principal or SENCO whenever you need to discuss concerns, adjustments, or next steps.
  • Two-way communication – we invite families to share what they notice at home (including anything a learner might be masking online). The more we know, the better we can tailor support.

Evidence that unlocks support...

  • EHCP & EOTAS ready – our reports can be used as evidence, showing both achievements and barriers, plus the approaches that help (and those that don’t) for your child.
  • Flexible to need – if you’d benefit from more frequent updates or additional review calls, we’ll adapt the cadence.
